Letter from the Founder

January, 2010

Going into 2010, we’ve seen some very positive upticks for our core locations in the Gulf and East Coast.

The New Orleans Saints is a great example of consistency and perseverance in progress. Starting out their 2006 Season with the recruitments of Coach Sean Peyton, and Quarter Back Drew Brees, and adding many strong supporting players, the once poster-team for loosing, is now known as World Champions of the XLIV Super Bowl.

TCI started out in 1983 with one truck, and now twenty-seven years later, we’ve risen to becoming the industry standard in logistical services. We’ve strategically applied talents, experience, consistency,
perseverance, and undying commitment to our customers, to our progress.

When fully operational, TCI’s new facility will be installed with state of the art packaging equipment for plastics and resins. From our packaging site to port transit through New Orleans, TCI is taking advantage of opportunities presented to capture the chemical packaging business in New Orleans. Louisiana’s chemical industry is one of our state’s largest employment segment, with approximately 25,000 employees, and producing $50 billion in products each year. (Louisiana Chemical Association. Louisiana Economic Quarterly, Q3 2009.)

With this being evident, as with many other areas of economic growth throughout our state, our capital investment and expansion makes sense for customer value. Specialized capabilities, reliability and price, to name a few, our team players are on the same page to keep moving the message: TCI is here as your value-added partner to get your job done well.
